Hebrews 10:19-39 - [Verse 23 in Original Greek]

19 Therefore, brethren, since we have ^R382 confidence to enter ^R383 the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a ^R384 new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the ^R385 veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since {we have} a ^R386 great priest over ^R387 the house of God, 22 let us draw ^R388 near with a sincere ^F108 heart in full ^R389 assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled ^R390 {clean} from an evil conscience and our bodies washed ^R391 with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession ^R392 of our hope ^R393 without wavering, for He ^R394 who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to ^R395 stimulate one another to love and good ^R396 deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling ^R397 together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging ^R398 {one another;} and all the more as you see the ^R399 day drawing near. 26 For if we go on sinning ^R400 willfully after receiving the ^R401 knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment ^R402 and THE ^R403 FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. 28 Anyone ^R404 who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy on {the testimony of} two or three witnesses. 29 How ^R405 much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who ^R406 has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the ^R407 blood of the covenant by ^R408 which he was sanctified, and has insulted ^R409 the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY." And again, "THE LORD WILL JUDGE HIS PEOPLE." 31 It is a terrifying ^R410 thing to fall into the hands of the living ^R411 God. 32 But remember the ^R412 former days, when, ^F109 after being enlightened, ^R413 you endured a great conflict ^R414 of sufferings, 33 partly by being made ^R415 a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers ^R416 with those who were so treated. 34 For you showed ^R417 sympathy to the prisoners and accepted joyfully ^R418 the seizure of your property, knowing that you have for yourselves a ^R419 better possession and a lasting one. 35 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, ^R420 which has a great reward. ^R421 36 For you have need of endurance, ^R422 so that when you have done ^R423 the will of God, you may receive ^R424 what ^F110 was promised. 37 FOR ^R425 YET IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE ^R426 WHO IS COMING WILL COME, AND WILL NOT DELAY. 38 BUT ^R427 MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM. 39 But we ^F111 are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving ^F112 of the soul
