is working until now, and I Myself am working." 18 For
this reason therefore the R278

all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but
also was calling God His own Father, making R280
Himself equal with God. 19 Therefore
Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, R281 truly,
I say to you, the R282 Son can
do nothing of Himself, unless {it is} something He sees the Father doing; for
whatever the F60 Father
does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 "For
R283 the
Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and
{the Father} will show Him greater R284 works
than these, so that you will marvel. 21 "For R285 just as
the Father raises the dead and gives R286 them
life, even so the R287 Son
also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 "For R288 not
even the Father judges anyone, but He R289 has
given all judgment to the Son, 23 so R290 that all will honor the
Son even as they honor the Father. He R291 who
does not honor the Son does not honor the
Father who sent Him. 24 "Truly, R292 truly,
I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes R293 Him who
sent Me, has eternal life, and does R294 not
come into judgment, but has passed R295 out of
death into life. 25 "Truly, R296 truly,
I say to you, an R297 hour is
coming and now is, when the R298 dead
will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear R299 will
live. 26 "For R300 just as
the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave R301 to the
Son also to have life in Himself; 27 and R302 He gave Him
authority
to execute R303
judgment, because He is {the} F61 Son of
Man. 28 "Do R304 not marvel at
this; for an R305 hour is
coming, in which all R306 who are
in the tombs will hear His voice, 29 and R307 will
come forth; those R308 who did the good {deeds} to a resurrection of life,
those who committed the evil {deeds} to a resurrection of judgment.
30 "I R309 can do nothing on My own initiative.
As I hear, I judge; and My R310
judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will,
but the R311 will of Him who sent Me.

from His God and Father to the raise the dead –a future advent.
