Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Question—What Works For True Christians?

2001 Translation

12 Then I saw the dead –C/H (Go to Chapter20)--the great and the small – standing in front of the throne. Several scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, which was the Scroll of Life. The dead were then judged by the things that were written in the scrolls, by the things that they did.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Job 14:14

(ASV) If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my warfare would I wait, Till my release should come.

(CEV) Will we humans live again? I would gladly suffer and wait for my time.

(GNB) If a man dies, can he come back to life? But I will wait for better times, wait till this time of trouble is ended.

(GW) "If a person dies, will he go on living? I will wait for my relief to come as long as my hard labor continues.

(KJV) If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
